Character Name : Ida
Sex : Female
Gender: Female
Age: 2 years
Physical Description: Ida is built wiry and narrow, more suited to speed than to strength. Her fur colour is a gradient that starts as a dark brownish-red on her saddle, that fades to blonde and then ends at her belly in a creamy white. She is smaller than average, but not by much. She will boast loudly and often that she is the best runner in the world, able to keep pace for days at break-neck speed. This is highly dubious.
Ida holds an inherent grace and is one of those few wolves that knows exactly how their body moves and what it can do. That confidence is easily displayed with the fluidity of her movements and the way she holds herself. She works hard to keep herself healthy, even going so far as to refuse food she is unsure about. Her claws will always be sharp and her teeth always strong and clean.
Though she would never admit it, Ida is not a pure wolf. Her grandmother was a coyote, and though that makes Ida less than a quarter coyote blood, some traits bleed through. Her diminutive size, narrow muzzle, and disproportionately long legs can all be contributed to her unusual lineage.
Personality : When you first meet Ida there is a good chance you will be struck with just how airy and vague she can be. There is no such thing as a straight answer with her, nothing is more interesting than a puzzle, and anything can be made into a game. She is easily distracted and often preoccupied, leading her conversations in many different directions at the same time. Many conclude that her mind just doesn't work in the same orderly way a pure bred does; writing it off as some sort of genetic trait that plagues coyotes.
But in reality Ida is a trickster and a liar. She is primarily self serving, but always benign in her games and thefts. Some would call her a coward, but to that she’ll just laugh. Ida is clever enough to save her own skin when things go south, and takes insults as a sign of her opponents rapidly boiling blood. Though she enjoys the company of other wolves, she has grown up as a loner and has trouble contributing (and trusting) a core family group. She will try in earnest to be a productive member, but may fall back on her free spirited ways.
History: Ida’s grew up with both her mother and father in a pack made of only them, her two brothers and one sister. They were a rouge band, travelling between lands until someone ran them off. They scavenged food from bears, cougars and even other wolves until the pups learned to hunt.
Eventually the pups had grown, and it was silently agreed that they would all need to go their separate ways. Ida, being the bravest (or most reckless) was the first to leave. At the mouth of Lagratia Ida said goodbye to her family and kissed her mother for the last time. She crossed the bridge with a spring in her step, sad to leave her only family, but at the same time sure she would find adventure here.
