Description: With the rough maned look of a lion and the unusual coloring of a calico cat, many confuse the large surly looking man for some type of feline. His coat is thick and concentrated around his neck and torso, colored a mixture of gold and orange and coated with just enough ebony to give the man a natural stripe from head to tailtip. An orange mask touches the top of his nose and surrounds his eyes. Though he walks with confidence and grace just as the feline, he has the strength and ability to prove that he is 100% thoroughbred canine. Davinci walks with his head held high. A wolf unprepared is a wolf deserving to be caught unawares, and so the patriarch keeps his triangular ears constantly perked and alert, his auburn eyes wide open in anticipation of any surprise.
Personality: Davinci is characterized as a lawful neutral personality. He is driven by his own personal code of excellence and dignity and expects the very same from others. The law laid down by his ancestors is extremely important to him; not a single rule has been modified in the 283 years since Castellum's arrival on the island of Lagratia. In his busy years as alpha he has not found the time to settle down and procreate, yet his desire to pass down the legacy of Castellum grows stronger every day. This has not stopped him from using his time to teach the youth of his pack, nor will it prevent him from being the strongest warrior he is capable of being. He is not one to let down others easily, it would tear him apart.
History: The Basileus family has ruled the mountains of Lagratia since their arrival on the island 283 years ago. Pack rule was passed down to each heir after the death or resignation of the former every so many years, and Davinci(being the first born of his alpha, Demetri)followed suit. Demetri died when Davinci was three years old, leaving the Alpha position directly open to his rule. He has since ruled with a kind but firm paw. There have been many a wolf who have tried to invade his kingdom and take over his pack, but to no avail. Davinci has remained strong atop his mountain throne. In the last year, many of the wolves of Castellum fell ill, and so the numbers have dwindled exponentially. Strangely enough Davinci was able to steer clear of this strange sickness and was forced to bury over half of his pack. Now nearly three months after losing so many, the determined man is willing and open to newcomers of all kinds.
